One of the best parts of being a makeup artist is collaborating on fun, creative projects—like this recent commercial shoot for Bones Coffee! If you’ve seen it, you know it’s full of playful energy and some seriously bold coffee love.

I had the pleasure of handling all hair and makeup for the shoot, creating looks that were fresh, natural, and polished while staying camera-ready for the entire day. The brand's quirky vibe made it a blast to work on, and each scene brought something new.

Creative Challenges and the Perfect Shot

One of the most memorable (and slightly nerve-wracking) moments was the punch-in shot over the talent's lips—literally one of the final shots of the day. We had one chance to nail it, and I was determined that her lips would look flawless. Luckily, everything came together perfectly, and that crisp close-up was worth the extra care and precision.

Why I Love Projects Like This

Working with brands like Bones Coffee is always a rewarding experience. It’s a chance to help bring creative visions to life and ensure that every detail looks just right. And let's be honest—being around the aroma of coffee all day? Not a bad perk!

Check out the final commercial here—it might just inspire you to brew a fresh cup.

Stay beautiful and caffeinated! ☕
