The truest testament to commitment and love is when life gets real and things get tough and these two have been faced with some of the biggest hurdles throughout their relationship. They have come out the other end not only together, but as literal survivors, stronger, more connected, and more in love than ever. I met bride Veronica over a decade ago and so when she told me she and Katrina were engaged and they wanted me to be a part of their special day, I couldn’t have been more honored. These two gorgeous ladies knew they wanted a night to remember and that meant that everyone who had been a part of their journey along the way had to be there to bare witness. They picked the perfect venue for a large outdoor celebration, Leo Carillo Ranch in Carlsbad, Ca. They had so many unique personal touches starting with their one-of-a-kind engagement rings, gorgeous, hand-painted invitations, personalized pins, vintage vinyl records, and the most radical custom-painted Mrs & Mrs. Leather jackets. Although they both rocked stunning gowns, their looks were very different as you would imagine two brides would be! Katrina went with a bit classic look in her lace gown (which Veronica accurately predicted would have appliqué flowers). She had a bit of a sultry vibe with a more prominent eyeliner and some vintage waves, whereas Veronica was a little more California chic with a less dramatic eye of earth tones, wearing a tulle fit and flare with a plunging illusion neckline. They both had a gorgeous glow on their literal perfect skin and natural tones on their lips. These brides are naturally beautiful inside and out and together they were the most stunning display of love, friendship and lifelong devotion that we have seen.
