Courtney & Richard’s Intimate Garden Wedding | As Seen on Style Me Pretty

I had the absolute pleasure of getting my bride Courtney ready for one of the most romantic and heartfelt wedding days I’ve ever been part of — and I’m so excited to share that their beautiful celebration was featured on Style Me Pretty!

Courtney envisioned her wedding day as an intimate garden party, and everything from the florals to the personal details captured that vision perfectly. Her bridal look was timeless — she wore the stunning Anne Barge Solana

gown with a delicate lace overlay, high neckline, and sleeves, along with a removable overskirt that floated like a dream. We kept her makeup soft, radiant, and natural to complement the elegant textures and tones of the day — enhancing her features without ever feeling overdone.

Their day began with a sentimental nod to their love story — a surprise proposal on the sands of Torrey Pines Beachwhile visiting family in San Diego. Richard planned every detail, from the proposal to a secret photographer capturing the moment, to a surprise gathering with loved ones when they returned home. It was thoughtful, joyful, and full of heart — just like their wedding.

From start to finish, the celebration was filled with beauty and intention. Carla Kayes’ floral design brought in lush pastels — blush, cream, lavender, and peach — arranged in organic centerpieces that felt both romantic and effortlessly undone. Their custom table names reflected meaningful places in their journey together, and a vintage silver convertiblecarried them from the church to the reception in timeless style, Courtney’s veil trailing in the breeze.

The menu was just as elegant — starting with mushroom ravioli, a poached pear salad, and entrées ranging from California bass to a beautifully crafted vegetarian dish. Their wedding cake by Lila Cakes was hand-painted with delicate florals to mirror the garden theme, displayed among fresh blooms for the perfect finishing touch.

Courtney and Richard’s wedding was the kind of day that reminds you what it’s all about — connection, intentional beauty, and celebrating love in a way that feels uniquely yours. I’m so honored to have played a small part in it.
