Let’s talk about this slice of paradise- wedding for a minute! I mean does it get any dreamier?! California, salty air, blush colored roses, palm trees, neutral tones, perfectly curated table settings and the sound of crashing waves. Pair that with a stunning couple who is perfectly dressed and madly in love and you have everyone’s dream wedding.
This tropical wedding took place in La Jolla, California but it mimicked that of some place far more exotic. Colette and Brian’s personal style shone through the entire event. With Colette, her natural beauty was simply highlighted. From the romantic silhouette of her gown to her dewy makeup it was all this effortless chic look. I helped her most beautiful features pop with warm tones like gold, champagne and bronze. I highlighted her cheekbones and chose a peach tone for her lips, so again, she would be natural but also to add some glow to her look.
This romantic style carried through to the bridesmaids who were in a mix of neutrals colored gowns, meant to compliment the men in dark grey Michael Kors suits, which were recently featured by Friar Tux Shop. We kept their makeup warm and glowing as well to fit this California beach scene.
A wedding like this is what every girl dreams of and for Colette and Brian it was their tropical-dream come true!
